Note: I am using a raspberry pi 5 and running kali linux version 2024.3. I've tried to build a new linux header to run my new wifi adapter TP link Archer T2U PLUS (RTL8821AU) but it looks like the new headers are not available yet at https://http.kali.org/kali/pool/main/l/linux/.

I see those lines the logs:

kernelver=6.1.92-v8+ ./dkms-make.sh
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 6.1.92-v8+ (aarch64)

The kernel in kali-rolling is 6.10.11-1kali1. The Kernel 6.1 was released in... December 2022? It seems that you're running a very old system.

Hi Arnaudr!

Thanks for highlighting the kernel rolling issue but I tried my best to update the Kernel however I am unable to do it. Can you help me here? I have mentioned all the commands that I tried.

You are running an old version of Kali which is no longer supported. If you try to install headers for your kernel, apt will fail as it can't find the correct package version.
Please update your system to the latest version https://www.kali.org/docs/general-use/updating-kali/
You are running quite an old version of kali so you might find issues trying to update it so I suggest installing the latest version you can find in https://www.kali.org/get-kali
