i have been using kali linux as dual boot and accessing internet with USB tethering. It showed the interface name as eth0 and at the top ethernet icon changed to connected. Once i have update and upgraded it, from then ethernet connected symbol is also not showing. when i checked with "ifconfig" it showed as wwan0 and showed "DOWN" word in red color. Even internet is also not accessible, so i need to connect to internet by manually sending dhcp request. I can access internet but the ethernet connected symbol is not showing at the top. Plz fix it iam already facing problem with not having driver support to my mt7902 wifi adapter.
