Summary	0009346: kali linux lost mouse cursor after update
Description	When I did the update on 10/9/2025, then rebooted the computer. After the reboot process was completed, I could not see the mouse cursor on the desktop. I would like the development team to review this bug and fix it.

kali-bugreport 2025-10-22 16:25 reporter ~0020902	Probably this from 0009355 valid here as well (just drop the "QEMU") what has been stated by some one from the Kali team: Hello, we can't work on this kind of issues, we don't have the bandwidth. Plus, this is very unlikely to be an issue that is specific to Kali, I guess you'll have the same issue if you try to run Debian testing, with a XFCE desktop, in QEMU. Hopefully the issue will be fixed with new version of QEMU, or new release of XFCE, or anything in between (graphics stack, input stack, I have no idea).
