Summary0009452: Pre-built Virtual Machine "Kali Rolling (2025.4) x64 2025-12-03" pgp key issues
Description

I downloaded the latest version of Kali for VirtualBox and ran into the same old PGP key issue. apt update fails due to a certificate mismatch, and I can't install it with "sudo wget https://archive.kali.org/archive-keyring.gpg -O /usr/share/keyrings/kali-archive-keyring.gpg" due to the "Certificate not trusted" error.

There's a problem on your side. Your wget command shouldn't error out.
