When developing for mobile, in Android Studio or similar IDE, there are problems running an android emulator, building and running applications. This is somewhat solved by installing vulkan, but not entirely, i.e.:

sudo apt install vulkan-tools libvulkan1 nvidia-vulkan-icd

For instance, assuming user has already ran "sudo apt install google-android-emulator-installer", configured SDK or setup relevant symlinks for current session (i.e. ln -s ~/.config/.android/avd/Small_Phone.avd ~/.android/avd/Small_Phone.avd) running any of:

emulator -avd Small_Phone -gpu guest -verbose

emulator -avd Small_Phone -gpu angle_indirect -verbose

Causes seg faults or shows an emulator with a black screen.

All these work perfectly fine in 6.12 and I am able to run and build apks in google emulator, with all working graphical, network and audio functionality. Therefore, something has happened between then, and now.

This is not a critical issue but, since I use Kali due to its sheer speed (xfce, no KDE, and most services disabled) for development, a fix would be lovely. Reverting to another distro, or worse, Windows, would be absolutely tragic.
