| Summary | 0009556: Improve fierce manpage | ||||
| Description | I was trying to learn how to use fierce and noticed the manpage can be more intuitive/clear. In particular, --traverse TRAVERSE It's not clear what form TRAVERSE should be. It could be changed to --traverse NUM and the description of it could incorporate that such as: "Perform a reverse DNS lookup on NUM IP addresses..." And likewise for any other ambiguous arguments. | ||||

Seems directly imported by Kali team from Debian: https://pkg.kali.org/pkg/fierce so probably needs to be reported to: |

Correct, the package is maintained in Debian's I also see that the man page was written by the package maintainers, it doesn't come from upstream. Maybe you can go as far as improve the man page by yourself and open a merge request at https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-security-team/fierce/ ? If ever you do so, make sure to CC @arnaudr or @sbrun, or ping again over here, otherwise we might miss it. |
