Summary0000975: Linux-kernel 3.12.6 GRUB loader
Description

After installation of Linux-kernel 3.12.6 on Kali-Linux the GRUB loader has the entry to start the new kernel 3.12.6.
Wen I send a signal to start the 3.12.6 kernel it loads all the sys processes, incluvise the gdm3, but the gdm3 doesn't start. The monitor keep's with a bar flashing, doesn't start the GUI logon neither the command line logon option.

Allways starting GRUB loader with Linux-kernel 3.12.6 option

I've started the Kali-Linux by kernel 3.12.6 and I can got TTY wen pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 but if I run 'startx' used in BT it just jump the line and does nothing.

Can you check if the situation improved with Kali 1.0.7 and Linux 3.14 ?

I've dist-upgrade'd the old 1.0.6 to 1.0.7 with linux-kernel-image-868
All working :)
