Summary0003541: Multiple bugs probably caused by drivers
Description

I have an Asus n551v laptop cpu: intel i7 6700hq gpu: nvidia geforce gtx960m, which is teorically supported by noveau drivers.
The actual bugs are:
-Fan speed is set at maximum.
-Cannot shutdown or reboot (computer freezes)
-Cannot install proprietary nvidia drivers, the installation stops at nvidia_legacy_check package installation

Additional Information

Tried several times after Kali fresh install as usb live after using apt-get update/upgrade/dist-upgrade. Both on kali 2016.1 and 2016.2, 64 and 32 bit version. Though 32 bit version appears less buggy. Tried all this from usb. On hard disk I can`t even boot it.
