Hi, thanks for the report, but it doesn't look like a bug in Kali.

It could be a hardware support issue, however it's not something we can fix, we don't have the manpower to deal with hardware support problems. Your best bet is to wait the next kernel update and keep around an old kernel that works for you (for example by installing an old known-working Kali image). Or it could be anything else, for example some program you installed, and that runs in the background and breaks things.

Please keep your system up to date (refer to https://www.kali.org/docs/general-use/updating-kali/ if you need guidance) and hope that it gets fixed magically.
