| Description | I tried to install rkhunter but I think the package is corrupt and won't install. | ||||

| Additional Information | I think the reason for the error in installing/upgrading kali-linux-everything is due to the presence of such problematic tools. | ||||

I also followed the steps below, but nothing changed. sudo apt -y install rkhunter sudo apt-get install -f sudo ls -l /var/lib/dpkg/info | grep -i rkhunter sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/info/rkhunter /tmp sudo apt update sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/rkhunter |

Can you give more information about your kali installation or how you are running it? I can’t reproduce the issue at all here on multiple systems. |

I have been using kali as the only operating system on the computer for many years. I recently performed a clean install with the installer, the version of which is 2.9 G installed on my system, and my source repositories are; Kali-rolling, kali-last-snapshot, kali-experimental, kali-bleeding-edge. (as on the source page https://www.kali.org/docs/general-use/kali-linux-sources-list-repositories/) Note: I have stated my opinion on the problems experienced in the kali-everything installation, which I have presented as additional information above, only as a personal opinion that can help you solve the error. Because after performing a clean installation, I installed a lot of tools and made my customizations without any problems. |
