Please provide more details.

Which version of Kali are you running? How did you install it, meaning, what image did you download on https://www.kali.org/get-kali/? Do you run it baremetal or in a VM? Which Kali desktop: XFCE (the default), GNOME or KDE?

If you're not able to provide details, use https://forums.kali.org/ instead, it's a better place to get support.

Hello, at least I learnt that you use Kali on VMware workstation. Other than that, if you can't provide more detailed information (like, answers to my questions above), there's nothing I can do to help. You should better try to get some help from community forums -> https://forums.kali.org/ or Discord chat -> https://discord.kali.org
