Summary	0008801: Kali 2024.2 stuck at running the init-premount script during boot up
Description	I recently installed PRETTY_NAME="Kali GNU/Linux Rolling" version 2024.2 with kernel version 6.8.11-amd64 on a DELL Latitude 7490 pc with specs: 8th gen, i7 core, 8gb ram and 512gb ssd This freezes when i try to boot into the system while trying to run the init-premount script I then rebooted again and edited the boot menu by removing quiet splash from the grub file and replacing it with nomodeset then CTRL + X and it boots well, its what i'm using to type this, i then updated the grub file by update-grub then reboot again to see if it worked but it still freezes, i booted again after editing the boot params then updated and full-upgraded the system but no change, ran update-initramfs -u and no erros returned but still no change Even fresh install doesnt fix the problem, Has anyone faced this kind of problem, and how did you fix it please??
