scrcpy REMOVED from testing |
Can contribute in kali to add this tool ? |
The tool was removed from Kali 2 years ago : https://pkg.kali.org/pkg/scrcpy This is a package that we get from Debian. It was removed from Debian testing, per https://tracker.debian.org/news/1392574/scrcpy-removed-from-testing/ and therefore it was automatically removed from Kali as well. This package is unmaintained in Debian, it seems. If you want to help, you should check on the Debian side. Open bugs are listed here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?archive=0;dist=unstable;ordering=normal;repeatmerged=0;src=scrcpy. At a quick glance, it looks like the version in Debian was old and incompatible with other packages. Nobody ever updated the package to a more recent version. |
