Description	Dear maintainers, since yesterday the build of kali live is crashing. Reason is the missing of some packages. I suppose, these can be easily fixed. arnaudr 2026-05-29 09:25 manager ~0021730	We have some caching issues with kali.download, please don't use it for now. Either use http.kali.org (our redirector service), or a particular mirror close-by, check the list at https://http.kali.org/README?mirrorstats (double-click on the map to zoom in). Hopefully we manage to fix this issue before end of today.

vanguard 2026-05-29 10:29 reporter ~0021731	Dear Arnaud, thank you for your quick response. I excuse, that I am reporting such often, but my purpose is just to help. As I am almost daily build a kali live and upgrade my kali systems daily, too, I see issues rather early. While I can not change to naother mirror for the build due to the given settings, I am waiting, until it is fixed, Please note: For my issues you never need to hurry! Always take your time! I can wait! I am happy, when it is fixed some day. Best Hans

arnaudr 2026-05-29 10:36 manager ~0021732	No worries, and thanks for reporting. For your installed systems you can always change your mirror in /etc/apt/sources.list. For builds of kali live you can configure the mirror you use for the build with this (not tested but should work): `cd kali-live echo "http://mirror.example.com/kali" > .mirror`
