Summary | 0007237: Bypassing the Login Page
Description | I have an issue with the login page. When Kali is in asleep mode, the screen is locked. If you suddenly fire up (power on) Kali, sometimes the login page will be bypassed!
Steps To Reproduce | You must select a password for your Kali and use Gnome -Go to the Power Off / Log Out section
Additional Information | Linux version 5.10.0-kali7-amd64 ([email protected]) (gcc-10 (Debian 10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35.2) 0000001 SMP Debian 5.10.28-1kali1 (2021-04-12)
Can you please check Settings > Privacy > Screen Lock? What I'm suspecting is that your screen remains "unlocked" for X amount of time, and you might happen to be waking up your computer before that time has passed. |
